here, beautiful while (2025)
-
here and while are two places, two ways to box passing time | while is where we find moments—rooms minute born, ever small, oak strewn, fractured, passing, knotted, translated, wilting—here, this beautiful while, is a place still ongoing | video, text, and music repeat indefinitely, repeating at different intervals, aligning and re-aligning, sewing together, torn apart, holding new alignments every time they begin again.

the tree stump is a verb (2024)
-
We use verbs to talk about things changing.
Verbs let us talk about motion while staying still.
When we talk about change, our verbs tell of movement that exists only outside of our words.
A different way:
the tree stump tells of its changing, remaining perfectly still on the ground.
What else carries both within?
The stasis and the changing?
A verb tells of motion, but only tells—how else can we name the changing?
